These aluminum oxide flexible emery cords are used to provide a super-fine finish on throat plate needle holes and slots, feed dog teeth, presser foot bottoms and throats, hook points, bobbin cases, loopers, spreaders, thread guides, take-ups, and bushings.
Round cords from .082″ to .055″ are ideal for sanding and cleaning grooves and larger metal parts.
Round cords from .040″ to .018″ are perfect for cleaning pipe threads and removing rust and other build-up from smaller parts.
Flat tapes are ideal for a variety of projects. Because of their larger surface area, the flat tapes can sand larger areas than the cords.
