System 135×16 triangle point (TR or TRI) needle is a cutting point needle generally used for sewing straight-set stitches in leather in walking foot (compound feed) industrial sewing machines. It is interchangeable with the 135×17 regular point needle system.
Please note that 135×16 refers to the system, or type of needle; size (diameter) is denoted by the suffix. For example, 135x16TR-18 is the smallest, or thinnest size we offer in this brand; 135x16TR-23 is the largest, or thickest size. The eye of the needle increases with the thickness to allow for sewing heavier threads.
